We have to replace an entire web based reporting system for a company that uses a current third party system and they want to bring it all in house.
We have 4 full time folks. My Partner, Myself, another of our people, and we are in need of a .NET MS Reporting Services person.
We will be migrating data from the transactional system (Single SQL Server 2000 Source System) to a separate MS SQL Server 2000 database and server.
We will be reorganizing the data to conform to standard data warehousing structures (Atomic Layer / Star Schema), scrubbing data, maintaining history of changes, etc...
We will then need to build a web based reporting system for this customer and their external clients to access.
We have budget for $70 per hour on contract for 40-50 hours per week, for three months. With a maximum of 50 hours per week.
So about $42,000 for three months for the .NET MS Reporting Services person on contract with us.
We also have other projects in the pipeline for 2006 but this one is a priority and MUST BE COMPLETED by April 1st.
The project is in Columbus OH. On contract there are no benefits and as a contractor you would be responsible for your own travel, accommodations, and food. Of course all these are also expenses as are many other things, thus a write off. That said, It will NOT be necessary to do all work on site, so after the first couple weeks we will have the luxury of working remotely, so as long as the work is getting done, and we show up as needed, we can work from home or wherever we choose. Pay would be on the 15th and 30th of each month. You would be representing Atlas Analytics.
Alternatively if you wanted to be employed by us we would pick up travel and expenses, contribute to workman's compensation, offer some basic health insurance, but the pay would be at the rate of only about $37.50 per hour ($75,000 Annual Equivalent). The added insurance for another employee, health insurance coverage, workman's compensation being the main contributors to driving down the pay rate, not the travel and accommodations.
