Thanks for the welcome everyone. If there is anyone else from the Janesville area let me know, maybe we can meet up for a drive. I make it to Madison pretty often too, but I don't like to the the S yet, too scared to leave it parked in the downtown area.

 

I'm a proud new owner of an 02 Silver S2K! Bought it this afternoon and darn near got sunburnt! I plan on storing the car once the snow hits here in Minnesota, so I'm looking to get as much fun as possible out of her in the next few months. I know there are some local autocrosses that I'll be going to and I'll be keeping my eyes on this forum for events in the tri-state area.

I haven't seen many S2K's around the Twin Cities. I hit up University Ave. most weekends, so if anyone's going to be there, holla. It's great to be back in the "scene" again. Hopefully I won't be forced out by low-life thieves.

I look forward to soaking up some information to enjoy my S2K to its fullest.

I'm Dave, 64, Jackson, MI and life-time sports car nut. I was at G-Man this past Thursday and met another S2000 owner who was 74 years young. So you 20-something folks can look forward to a long life time of enjoyment if you drive Safety Fast!

This is very true for some reason.

Also I am going to put something together in Kalamazoo area as soon as I have my garage (Rec Area) rebuilt. Still waiting for my Garage Door, Heater, AC, and Sidding to come in.

Derfs BBQ/Party/FallColorsDrive. Hopefully I'll have everything ready by late September.

Kalamazoo should be a great area for a gathering. Right smack in the middle of Detroit and Chicago.
