UMW Rules for Posting and Forum Behavior
1. No Personal attacks! Personal attacks, mocking, slander, and post designed to humiliate or make fun at the expense of others are NOT permitted under any circumstances.
--Nasty, rude, antagonistic or belligerent posts are NOT permitted. This includes any post that may have insinuations, innuendos, etc. If there is any complaints about a thread, or a post, it will be moderated. You'll get two warnings...consider this your first warning!
2. Event criticism is only slightly acceptable. Personal criticism is not. Keep any criticism related to event(s) minimal and absolutely none for the person behind it.
3. Do not hijack a thread. Going off topic a bit is fine, but please remember to have some sort of relevance to the topic. If the original poster complains about a hijacked thread, the whole thread will be moderated.
4. Drama threads. There will be NO drama!!! If you can't make a post or thread without underhanded insults towards other members, you will be given a time-out or will be banned. Again, you'll get two warnings...consider this your first.
5. The UMW forum is reserved for event threads, S2000 questions, and other things of general community interest. All Off-Topic threads belong in Windy City, Off-Topic, or elsewhere on the site.
6. Event threads and sign-up. Anyone can organize an event; you don't have to be a CO to put something together. If you organize one, please make sure location, date, and time is CLEARLY detailed in the first post. Do not whore the event thread. Also, if you cannot attend the event, do NOT post that you CANNOT make the event. If you've originally signed up for the event and then need to take yourself off the list, then edit your original post.
7. For sale and WTB posts belong in the monthly UMW FS/WTB thread that live in UMW Market sub-forum. There are rules to posting in the sub-forum. Read them, follow them.
Habitually breaking UMW posting rules and forum behavior will result in post moderations, time out given to the UMW/WC forums, and/or a banning from S2Ki.com.
Now that the nasty stuff is stated Have fun, enjoy your S2000, and make friends! That's why we're here, after all.
