WARNING ! Do Not get your S WET
Yes that pic is the one that finished her off. Very slight frame damage, however enough to push the cost of repair over the edge.
The insurance cost to repair was estimated to be over $12,000, in reality My Body Man and I could have put her back together using used parts and without cutting corners for under $6,000.
The car had a Target on her and was destin for the Track and/or Bone Yard.
She Loved to run very fast and always behaved in those situations. Think she was unhappy cruising under 30mph or while parked.
May Target Rest in Peace.
The New Name for our Del Slo is DING, she finds a new Ding every day but her new owners really don't care.
Runs like a Top, looks like a Golf Ball.

Nice blue and at least it's a Honda....

The Body has a few of the normal areas starting to rust and over 100 dings and will have to be repaired if my wife and I keep this car for more than a year. I really like having a car that I don't have to worry about getting Door Dings, however this Del Slo only has 127K on her now and Runs Perfect and is worth restoring the Body.
Really don't think that We can recover the cost and labor to restore the body even though We Stole this Car for less than the price of it's transmission. The Book Value is only $2500 and the car is almost 20 years old.
The previous owner sunk a couple thousand into this car replacing everything that was worn out from age (Struts, Complete Brake system, Clutch, $500 Stereo, 15" Alloy Wheels and New Tires). He had more money than brains which was a good thing for Us. He had the car for sale for Months and was way overpriced due to the 100 Dings. The owner donated the car to our church and we bought from the church since no one else at the church wanted a Two Seater with a 100 Dings and the Price was to good too pass on.
Sort of a tough decision, do we sell it and make a nice profit or restore it and drive it till the wheels fall off. If my wife is willing to drive it till the wheels fall off I'll restore it to Better than Prestine Condition. We still have a few months to make our decision before Winter catches up with us and the Rust.
Darn Rust never sleeps
