Coming up. Who's all going? I will be driving down from MN and should be arriving Friday Morning. We are staying at the congress.

Where to wash the S when it gets there? can anyone help me out? Hand wash only.
We should be having a weekly friday meet that day. If you want to, you can stop by my place before hand and I'll help you wash it. I'm in the North suburbs right off of the 294 highway.
What time Friday? We should be arriving into Chicago around Lunch time. Planning on leaving the twin cities around 5am

Ok sounds good. let me see what the plan is with Friday evening. My S2k is not 100% in coming yet. Still working on a truck and trailer. Stock diff scares me and last thing I need is to be on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere.

even at 500whp, the stock diff should be fine as long as you dont launch...every driving should be just fine...unless there are other issues?

No other issues. But when it's time to go it's time to go for the diff. In Full Blowns Shop s2k just driving normal getting onto the road one day the stock diff just took a dump. That's my biggest fear.

I have yet to take the car on a long trip as well. Farthest I've driven this away from home is about an hour there and another hour back. Just don't have that 100% trust on such a long distance drive. I'd feel better trailering it for the peice of mind. I have a big group coming as well and wouldn't want to hold anyone up.

Low S2k, brides, harnesses, and loud ass car isn't the most comfortable way to go 6 hours there and back lol. I got myself, my girl and two friends riding with us as well.

Yep safe than sorry. If it was just me n my girl I'd be more inclined to do it. Esp if we were going out there for just the car show. But we're making a trip outta it doing the chicago thing and just don't wanna chance it by ruining it on the side of the road
