I drive mine even in the dead of winter. Of course, that means low 70's and sometimes even high 60's. Sorry, I couldn't resist...
You guys can rub it in when you get to go to S2K days and Laguna Seca meets

I just got back from my good friends cabin in Northern Wisconsin (almost the UP MI) Granted they only had about 4" of snow it was still a good test of the cars winter performance since WI doesn't salt a lot of thier roads.
I'm running Dunlop Winter Sports in the factory size and an extra 92lbs of ballast in the trunk.
The car ran just fine. It is an inspiring ride to say the least but definitely manageable.
Hard packed snow is cake, ice sucks but basically sucks for everyone, slush leaves little to be desired but as long as you are safe you will have no problems.

Maybe next year I'll have a beater but for now this thing is just too much fun to drive, even in winter.

Actually it helps to have a second car. As mentioned earlier the S2K is not cheap to insure. So storage insurance for 8 of 12 months a year is a very realistic option. It also will keep that gem nicer for more years of enjoyment. I don't worry about the snow because my primary vehicle is a Ram V10 3500 dually 4x4. I am ordering a 2002 SPA yellow S2K now! Bob

Someone correct me if i'm wrong but our car is closer to 200bhp (Base Horse Power)! You most likely were thinking 240HP.
