Why is the Michigan S crowd so Friggin boring!!??
I scan these regional forums occasionally (I would read them more, if there was more interest from my area!)... and I see meet after meet after meet... but nothing, NOTHING is ever around Michigan. If there has been, I might have been out that week and missed it or something! I see MN people organizing meets, Oh, Indiana, Illinois... but never Michigan. Am I surrounded by too many Mustang and Vette lovers to enjoy a little fun with some other S owners or what!?

Time to move to Cali.....I am sure we can take good care of you! Not to Mention, Back_Cracker knows how to get on your good side fast.....hehehe....Just kidding!
I beleive you might have to take the initives and manage a meet youself. That would be the best way to go!
Good Luck!

Hey joeking1978 you wouldn't be the only one....last drive we had 14 s2000's plus one civic (me ), and we had people come from Nebraska (ninegrand), South Dakota (SoDaks2k) and Madison. You should go for it!

If you've seen a yellow S with Tire Rack and Hoosier decals around, that'd be me. I'd participate in more stuff around town but...1) autocrossing is what I live for (I'm the '02, '03 CenDiv series champ) and most gatherings conflict with race weekends, and 2) I'm not into "showing" my car, and I've yet to find local roads that are enticing to drive (sorry, I don't cruise Woodward). Track days at Gingerman are out of the question - I've raced real cars, and racing doesn't do much for me unless it's a competitive event (as opposed to a "driving exercise" or whatever you tell you insurance agent LOL).
It's not that I'm particularly negative about getting together. A group gathering for a cold Newcastle some evening is always enticing
