So what is the camping like, are the cars parked close by? Im undecided whether im going or not because I dont have any camping equipment, has anyone tried to sleep in their car?

I think you can camp just about anywhere in the grass in the paddock area. But I think they only have electrical hookups in certain camping areas up under the trees between turn 1 and 2. I could be wrong though.

a tent is $20 or less at Walmart. Bring a sheet blanket and pillow and you've got the minimum to sleep. I'd spend $20 on the tent over sleeping in the S. There are places to camp both near and away from cars, plenty of room to be near all the peeps or get away from it all. There are a limited number of electric hookup spots which you pay extra for, or you can go without and go mooch an outlet during the day to charge your phone or whatever.

Best way to sleep in an S2000 is the passenger seat fully reclined (may have to move the seat forward). It is not comfortable but has helped when I went to gingerman on a rainy night and found a leak in my tent.
