I had a blast. Weather was beautiful for the most part. Since Gingerman is my baseline track, I found the CR is FAST. I'd like to think my driving has improved over my last time at Gingerman a year ago, but Honda really built a very well balanced car. Shaved about 3 seconds between my best time in my AP1 and my best time in my CR.
It was good meeting/seeing everyone. I wish I had more time to hang out with you guys but I was running all over the place between runs, playing with the car setup, rides, etc. Hopefully I'll see you guys at other track events soon.
I counted a total of 12 S2000's (+ at least 1 former owner).
Phil - good seeing you as always. Hope you were able to work on that heel-toe.
Sam - awesome job. Way to get bumped up to intermediate 1 on your first track weekend!
Mike - Looks like you're hooked. No doubt I'll see you at other track days and autocrosses. Also, your dad is awesome. He should get his Miata out there.
Matt - wish I could have ridden with you. See how well that natural autox ability of yours translated to the track.
SimpleMan - Saw your car. Not sure if we've met and we didn't get a chance to really talk. Next time though!
Kamron - I think we've met before. Thanks for coming out! You should make it to some of the Chicago area track events sometime.
Guy in the black S2000 that was playing with me in Advanced. You were FLYIN! Did you say you were on street tires? Didn't catch your name. Are you on here?
Everyone else - sorry I didn't get to really meet everyone but thanks for joing in the parade lap. It was good to all roll together. Let's see civic's or integras get that organized! Hopefully I'll see you guy's again.

Words cannot describe how awesome that was! It ran pretty smooth, I think I hit the jackpot with my instructor (Clifton), and I've experienced a whole new performance envelope of my car. Can I sign up for WMHM10 yet?

I must admit...I had a great time this weekend too. The girls thought it was great fun to find daddy and Kamron on the track. They got pretty good at it...starting to find Phil and Cliff as well...
