it may seem like i was snapping more of the CR and the BB with the advans but its only cause they were out when i was out i guess. sorry i couldnt get more of everyone. the blue/black one looked cool to me, dunno why.

I couldn't stand the silver flake in the blue paint, it was WAY too much.

Yessurr...I'm on Direzza Z1 starspecs. They stuck pretty good till they overheated a bit later on in each session.

BTW, I was flying?!! You were flying, sir lol. You were 1 out of 2 cars that passed me over the 2 days. You and Mark from ONE6.

I wanna give R comps a shot next year. The Direzzas have been through about 4-5 track days and about 3500-4k street miles. So they're pretty much gone.

The fender coming down on top of them during a spin and taking huge chunks out of them didn't help their lifetime either. Plus it mangled the fender a bit. The tire basically grabbed a hold of one of the fender tabs and folded that part of the fender inside out. I did some track side hammer work on it and you can barely tell. Hence the little peice of blue tape on my fender to cover the exposed metal lol. That makes the 2nd blemish on my car. :sigh:. Oh well atleast I did it at the track. Plus, with the touch up paint on it, you can barely see it.

I'll probably run the Direzzas one more time at Autobahn full course. The guy with the Z06 has a membership there and I try to go atleast once or twice a year with him just to crush him in front of his Autobahn buddies .

It was a really good time. Hope to see you around at other events. I think you were at the maywood park AutoX running ridiculous times in that CR in june. IIRC, like 47.xx or 48.xx??

 

Yeah, Mark was killing out there. But when i passed you I was on RA1s. Very impressed that you could keep up with me (and I think you passed me at one point) on street tires!
