The science of speed clutch package is appealing. However, unless you are putting down over 300 whp, stock is fine from what I've read.

Not going to happen. Just ask mike. I think he said he had a total of 15k into the motor, and made 238 WHP. Maybe you can get him to chime in.

Don't let this stop you though. Just go 15:1 compression ratio with Q16 gas and you might get close.......

Yes, I spent over $15k on a full NA motor build, not including all the cash on AEM and lots of time dyno tuning in CA and in UT. The target was 280+ NA. Didn't come close. In less than a year, motor was replaced and I went with a super charger. A lot less money and a lot more power.

A few years later I went with an Inline turbo setup. More money and again more power, but also a lot more heat. In my opinion, super charger is the way to go.

Just wrapped up my weekend "big install" including stage 2 SoS supercharger, HKS single and clutch/flywheel... AP1 flywheel and SoS clutch are both installed, clutch feels exactly like stock. Grips well and strong. I didn't change fluids so my engagement points are nearly the same, so yeah, it's excelllent.
