Default Good shop?

My clutch might be on its way out. Any good shops in SLC?

I had mine replaced by Modern Garage, but I haven't been there since Christian went to Cobb Tuning and even then it was sparse after J.P. passed. I think Mike knows a good alternative shop.

Give Modern another chance. Talk to Tyler and let him know your concerns. I talked to him today about changing out my flywheel for a lighter one. If you are going to change your clutch, look into changing your flywheel. He will give you his opinion as to why it's a worthy modification.

Turn over at Modern has been high. To be fair, I haven't been back in the last few months.

From my perspective all of the reasons I went to Modern for many years are no longer valid.
- Car setup and modification / investment advice
- Experienced mechanics with concentious oversight and attention to detail by management
- Experience working on S2000s
- Dyno tuning
- Professionalism

I realize things may have change there; though I'm a bit skeptical. I switched to Utah Imports. They are more of a Audi, VW shop. What sold me on them is:
- Depth of experience of mechanics
- Racing focus of the shop and the mechanics

... that's my 2 bits

Mike what is the number to Utah Imports? I may want some work done on the Mercedes, and the obviously have experience with German vehicles.
