FOO-CAT: If all goes well, we'll make this happen more than once - especially if folks enjoy this one - Lib and I love going there, so we could easily make it for a Friday night next time...there are a few good movies coming out this month, so that would be a good excuse to do this again.

I don't care where we meet at. Obviously a N. SLC place would be closer to me, but it doesn't really matter. I'm not familiar with Layton/Ogden area, so I'll need an address and I'll look up directions.

Some suggestions for places in Layton:
steak/Seafood
Tepenyaki - Japanese steakhouse, much like Benihana, they have tables that sit 8-10 people.
Lone Star Steakhouse
Outback Steakhouse
Red Lobster
Magrath's Fish House
Mexican/Tex mex
Chili's
Garcia's
Pizza/Pasta
Olive Garden
Fazoli's
Good Time Spaghetti (like Spaghetti Factory)
San Fransisco Sourdough Pizza
Pizza Hut
Burgers/Sandwiches
Crown Burger
Training Table
Togo's
Quizno's
Tasty's
Schlotsky's
Ribs/Chicken
Tony Roma's
Famous Dave's
A little of everything
Red Robin
Chili's
Applebee's
Iggi's
Some places would be more inviting for a large group, and some places would obviously be cheaper/faster.
Feel free to throw out some ideas.
I might suggest San Fransisco Sourdough Pizza or Training Table, as they are relatively cheap, and not to busy, and they are pretty good for larger crowds.
My wife and I could also call ahead or go somewhere early if you guys would rather go somewhere that usually has a wait.
Jaime, lets get some ideas then tally the votes.

Alright Sean, thanks for the listing! Now it's time to vote on this. If we plan to meet in Layton at around 6:00 or 6:30pm, that would give us about an hour and a half to eat and get to the drive in early enough (8pm-ish). Box office does not open until 8:30pm, but I hear the lines start early, so we can play that by ear. Sean listed all the places to go, and suggested two.
If no one objects, lets go with his suggestions...post your preference:
PIZZA or TRAINING TABLE?
Once we decide, we'll post detailed directions to either. I know both are EASY to get to from I-15, (I think it is Layton exit 334) so it's more a matter of food preference. We can also make reservations (or at least give them a heads-up that we have a crowd expected!) to speed things up.
things
We vote TRAINING TABLE because there is better parking there as well.
I'd like to hear from everyone by Thursday night so I can confirm how many we have planned to be at dinner. Thanks!
