Next cruise.....
So the bear lake cruise was pretty fun. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on the next meet? It always seems better to plan early so we get the best turnout. Start throwing up some ideas.

DON"T DO THE ALPINE DRIVE YET!
Wait for me. That is my favorite drive. I would hate to miss it by just a couple of weeks because the Lotus isn't done yet. Hold off on that drive till middle of June/July.
I PROMISE I'll be there with the Lotus.

East Canyon is the best drive around for something close and scenic.
You've gotta watch out though... I caught air on one of the straightaways going about 80 mph... I didn't even see the bump, and all of a sudden I was in the air

Alpine loop may have good scenery, but if you are the driver, you can't see any of it as the road is so narrow that you need to pay attention to the road. It seems like there are so many cars on it too.
In the summer, the road through Kamas up through the Unitas is very pretty. There is a small fee to enter, but a very pretty drive. The roads are wider than the Alpine loop. If you really want to take a long drive, you can go all the way through the Unitas and end up on I-80 near Evanston.
