Question: Do you think it would be easy to sell my 2002 S2000?
How would you sell your S2000? Salt Lake Tribune? Autotrader? Post it here on s2ki? Trying to get some feedback from locals here in Utah. My 2002 S2000 is blk/blk basic options and everything is stock. No mods. I have a protective undercoating and leather protection applied. Approx 1300 miles. What do you think is fair market price for Utah? What would some of you be willing to pay?
Reason to sell is that I have been developing some business interests and things in that area are moving much quicker than expected. I hate to part with a brand new car but I would like to commit to the business venture.
Hope to hear back from some of you.
Thanks in advance

I don't know if this would be the same in the States but when I traded my Ford in on my S2000 I got a call from the guy that sold me the Ford and he claimed that he would have given me a much better deal than I got from the Honda dealer. My Dad has also done this twice in the past and sold both cars back to the dealership for a great price. You might get more privately but at least if you can sell it back to the dealer you got it from it's no hassles for you and you don't have the usual tire kickers coming in wasting your time.
Just a thought anyway.
Good luck with your business venture.

I can't speak for everyone, but If I were to see an S2000 for sale for $31,000, and knew that I could get a new one for ~1,500 more. I'd fork out the extra bucks for a new one. That's the really hard thing about trying to sell a very new car. You want to try and get back as much as possible, but it's really hard. Maybe the S2000 is the kind of car that people are willing to pay top dollar for a used one. I say go for it, and see what happens. Good luck.
I've seen all sorts of pricing some much higher for last years model. But one thing that concerns me is the market here in Utah for S2000 it seems to be rather weak....so it might not even be worth listing it. As I think I stand more replies from ebay or something like that. Someone suggested to sell it for 31k on ebay and it would be gone in a week....
