S2000 = Ultimate Permagrin
Hello Utah S2000 owners.
I am a 7-week veteran of ownership of the world's finest all-around sports car (mine, a MY01 Spa Yellow version). Last week I took an entire 5 days off work in order to drive as many of Utah's canyons as possible before the snow starts falling, but instead of sun, it was like French Polynesia in the Tsunami season!
Now, this week is more like it! However, I've been at a work conference for the past two days. I got sick of it today, and after the conference dismissed, I hit a nearby canyon with nearly new Kumho Ecstas needing some asphalt shaving. Although this is my third time driving this particular canyon, it is the first time I have had so much fun driving ANY car. The S2000 is king!
I'm no racer; I have no formal training. I consider myself a competant driver who rarely pushes the line between control and recklessness. The S just made me twice as good. The cars on my slot car tracks as a kid barely could keep up with the way this glued tired wonder runs 30/60/90 degree turns. My mouth just hurts from smiling so much.
This afternoon made up for all those wet days last week. I can't believe I waited this long to find out what you all know - the S2000 is the ultimate Permagrin.
