Most of us will be meeting by 7:00am at Ironwood Plaza (5 Road at Steveston Hwy), in front of McDonald's. We'll head out to the border by 7:30 latest, likely taking the truck crossing. We'll fill-up and wait at the Chevron on the US side of the truck crossing before heading out to Bellingham (leaving by 8:30 from the border).

Bring two way radios maybe?

Is everyone aware that we're supposed to have a 1-day pass for the Mt.Baker/Snoqualmie park region?

We may have to stop somewhere to buy them (hopefully along the route). I have no idea if this is enforced for something like our run, but just thought I'd give a heads-up. I bought a Discovery Pass at Big-5 Sporting Goods just off Guide Meridian Rd. in Bellingham, but they may not be open yet when we get there early Saturday.

You can order on-line for a printable pass, but don't order the traditional paper pass because it'll arrive in the mail too late. This is a new service, but I haven't tried it .....

Unfortunately Mt.Baker park doesn't have an automated pay station for passes, like some other parks.

^Thanks for the heads-up! I bought it online last year, but I was one of the few. FWIW, they didn't check, not sure about this year, ymmv.
