Wow guys, it's been so long since I last updated this thread. Anyways after a whole month of waiting for parts to come back in, we finally got everything back.

The pistons, rods, and crank have all been coated, and are being assembled as we speak at the machine shop.

There are also some changes on parts.
We are no longer using the Megan header, as we will be using the J's Racing header.

For the cylinder head, I will let the pictures do the talking.

The head is a port and polished head done by Joe Alaniz. It has Supertech oversized stainless steel valves (1.0mm exhaust, 0.5mm intake) with Eibach dual springs and custom titanium retainers. The head has new valve guides and seats. The head combustion chamber volume is close to stock. This head on a boosted s2k should add about 12 to 15% more power.

All tuning will be done at Garage 5.

Short block assembly is scheduled to be finished this week. After that the block will go back to Advance where the rest of the engine and car will be assembled. Then it will be towed to Garage5 for tuning, and after that bodyshop for final body touch up.

Stay tuned!

Wow, it has been almost 3 months since I started this post. The car is finally being put back together again. All the engine parts have finally been coated and assembled. Right now we are assembling the ported head with the 2.2L Spoon stroked short block.

By the end of the week we should be able to tow the car down to G5 to start it up and tune with the Kpro.

Stay tuned!
