Default Anyone got subs in their rides?

I'm planning on putting in a system (subs) in my baby and just wanted some input on how subs in the trunk would sound before I actually go ahead with it. Any problems with rattling parts?space?power? I know install is going to be a hassle so i'll prolly go custom. Maybe someone could meet up wid me and let me listen to theirs?thnx

I have a custom box done by a guy in town here (Victoria)

Looks great..still room for golf clubs...i can email you pics if you want..

The noise issues are huge with the top up and the bass up..but if the bass is down then its fine..and the top down..no noise at all..The noise comes from the dish wher ethe top sits when it goes down..and a lilttle from the trunk area...

There is a guy darknight I think that makes one for our car..his setup looks really cool and its cheap!

Does anyone have any experience with the JL stealth box?? It's a box/sub combo that's custom designed to fit in the well of our trunks. Stealth boxes are supposedly really nice set-ups, think it's worth it?

Edit: Here's the link off the JL site. http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_stealth...php?fit_id=1405

Wink

darkknight will be able to make you a better box, the carpet color will match better too.

ps, synth, we share the same past and present, I had a 97' drivers ed. GTi VR6 in Jazz Blue, and now a GPW S2k
