Unhappy Anyone here ride motorcycles?

Hey all...

Anyone here ride or plan on riding motorcycles? Just getting a feel for the community.

For those that rode in the past - what did you have? why did you stop?

For those starting - plan on learning? what bikes are you interested in?

And....what is up with the new Honda bikes. They look ugly now.
Especially the 1000rr. the 600rr looks better.

I don't know kenny if you are just learning for the first time then no...but if you learned on one before, sure why not.

Haven't decided yet. I've been talking with a few people who took courses. Did you do one Vince?

I learned on dirtbikes by trial and error...way more error and battle scars...got tips from my cousin etc.

Decided to take a school when I wanted to go on pavement. This is the school I recommend: http://www.pacificridingschool.com/

One of the best times of my life, because the instructors are hilarious. They throw cones at you, push you off the bike, call you racial names hahahaha. Everyone that went after my recommendation has thanked me after...it's that good!

It's one of the more expensive schools but you get way more out of it compared to other ones.

I've heard great things about PRS too. I will probably be enrolling in their course.
