Ok, we'll meet on the rooftop parking lot at Mayfair, just off Tolmie and Oak street, at 11:30am this Saturday.
From there we will cruise to the loghouse pub in Langford for some lunch, via Munns road.

I posted this on another forum, but I'll repeat it here. It is regarding race tires, but the same still holds true for street tires:
It may be worthwhile if you can get enough people interested to have the tires shipped to Point Roberts, WA (It is just on the other side of the BC Ferry). Shipping rates within the continental US are far lower than those to Canada, plus you'll save the $30 or so per set brokerage that gets charged when UPS brings the tires into Canada.
A numerical example:
For a set of Hoosiers for the S2000 shipping from the Nevada Warehouse to Point Roberts is $50.88.
To my address in Victoria, shipping is $118.62, plus $30 UPS brokerage.
If you could even get 2 people interested and one of them has a van, pickup or SUV you could SAVE money by having them shipped to Point Roberts and picking them up. Be aware that GST, PST and Duty (if applicable) would have to be paid at the border. This is figuring on $75 each way on the ferry.
This is likely the cheapest way to get a group deal on race (or any) tires.
YMMV

Unfortunately, i'm addicted to super sticky street rubber, as i autocross quite a bit. So i'm only interested in getting a set of Dunlop Star Specs or another set of Bridgestone RE01-R's. I won't be able to get those from West Coast or any other local store, i don't imagine. At least not for what i could get them from Tire rack for.
If anyone wants to try and do a group buy like this, let me know.
And if it's dry out on Saturday, i can probably make it to the meet. I'll cross my fingers.
