i had some other work done so i cant remember the pricing of the retainers only.. but i believe it was around 4.5-5 hours + parts. i only replaced the intake side so parts were $120 for the retainers and cotters.

Rob The Gob did his as well I think he said it was in the 5 hundred area..., So did Mid Isle S2K and he got it done at a Honda Shop for mid 500's as well.

Depending on where you got work done.. if it was dealer they usually charge $100+ an hour.. so 4.5-5hrs is about 5 bills
if you go to private mechanic they go from $70+ an hour.
like i said, quite a bit of work haha!

Its not really , you can get in there with a dental mirror with the cover off to see some what. If I still had a ap1 I would just change them anyway for piece of mind.

Sorry for the late bump (that's what happens when you don't visit for months...).

I did my retainers myself - parts from the US were about $50 for the intake side and used tools were under $50.
