Default ap1 vs ap2 suspension

hey guys, i bought a set of eibach springs and im looking to get them installed, first of all anyone know of any good shops? was gonna get them installed by aj racing, but with this whole "issue" going around im not 100% right now, 2nd of all my s2000's ride quality is really stiff, i have a ap1, just wondering if i should look into getting ap2 struts and getting the springs installed on them or just sticking to my ap1 struts? im just looking for a clean lowered look to make the wheels im looking for more flush, no tracking or anything like that, would appreciate any advise

if you think stock is already too stiff, then lowering on eibach springs will make it worse...(even softer shocks won't help much)

euhh, well i know its expected it will go stiffer, but which ones would be the better bet, or is there really not a signifigant change that i would notice?

My AP2 had pretty stiff stock suspension. I purchased coilovers (Ksport) and I find the ride is pretty much the same, no worse that is for sure.

Not sure about springs since they sit around your stock shocks though. My only concern about springs is the drop. You get what you get. I wanted to be adjustable that is the only reason I purchased the inexpensive brand of coilovers.

Was the stock shocks changed btw model years? I agree with Dave, the stock AP2 suspension is pretty stiff (which I think is normal for this car).

CR is the stiffest i believe.
AP1 is stiffer than AP2.

when i test drove the AP2, i found it to be noticeably softer than my car.

EDIT nevermind misread question haha

Just stick with your AP1 struts to save yourself money. I would look into changing your tires if you want a more comfortable ride?

Yeah, I agree with Kenny. AP1 is a bit stiffer than AP2.
There's no way of making your s2000 any much more comfortable/"Softer". They were made that way for a reason.

Buy a luxury car for a more comfortable ride

just my opinion but i don't think the s2000 suspension is bone jarring stiff...

if one thinks the s2000 is too stiff, they should have bought the miata instead
