I probably won't bring up my S to Vancouver either because some SUV-driving Tacoman backed into me in a parking lot.
I'll more than likely bring the rental I get while my S is in the shop...probably a Mustang or a Camry...

if you've never been to Vancouver before check out Robson Street, it is "the street" in downtown.
Also checkout Yaletown at night, that is where many of the lounges/bars are...around the Granville Street area.
there's 2 car shows on the 9th.

there's a bunch of celebrities in town filming movies, so don't be surprised if you see some in clubs/lounges.....Vin Diesel, Will Smith, The Rock, Tara Reid, Christian Slater...

haha.....I forgot to mention the biggest summer event in Vancouver.....the fireworks competition.
Saturday the 9th is the last night of the competition, it is also the best night...the Finale.
you will see large groups of people downtown heading to the beach(English Bay) throughout the day. There is usually 300 000 - 400 000 people who watch the fireworks. It is actually quite a site when the fireworks are over to see that many people herding the streets. But this is also when the drunken rowdys act up, so try to stay clear of them...however it is quite amusing watching fights in the street and the rowdys getting 'handled' by the police...lol.
