Does anyone have any experience or contact for getting a sprinkler system installed? Rather than turning on the tap and let it run uncontrollably until we remember to turn it off we're hoping to stop wasting water this summer.

Is this a DIY project? I wouldn't mind getting dirty and have some fun at it.

 

If you don't mind getting dirty, and having some fun with it... it is definatly a DIY project. Get a cooler of beer, a sunny weekend, and maybe a buddy or 2 to help, and you should have it up and running in no time. Go to a good hardware store (like Home Depot) and get some instructions on how to do it. They will walk you through step-by-step on the procedures that need to be done, the supplies you need, and the tools you need (to buy or rent) for the project.
