Hey. it seems i have a small Ball joint problem and i looked everywhere and seems that the only people that make ball joints for s2k's are SPT and CT Engineering aside from OEM. Just want to know if anyone has used aftermarket and what they are like. (mostly looking for lower ball joints with arms adjustable because when i turn all the way clutched in, it makes cracking sounds in the front two wheels)

so to reproduce this sound, you just get the car moving, clutch in (or is neutral ok?) and then turn the steering wheel all the way to one side?

can the ball joints be visually inspected as well? (i'm thinking they can) but just wondering. and isn't it dangerous to drive on busted ball joints ?

 

Thats exactly what im thinking. mostly is when i ahve the clutch all the way in and also in NEUTRAL or in GEAR as long as clutch is in and idling without producing any power while turning the steerwheel all the way to one side exactly. when u turn it sounds like "dak dak dak dak dak". but if i do it while driving and giving gas, there is no sound.
