If you download a coupon from their website, you supposedly can get a slightly better exchange rate too.

Sorry I'm really late responding to this thread LOL but I was overseas on vacation.

I work for VBCE, I'm a trader there. We have the best rates in town.
how does VBCE work? are there any fees on top of the rates published on the website?

Nope, no fees.

From what I can tell, they make their money based on the exchange rate but in volume.

Everyone worries about every last 1/100th of a percentage point on the exchange rate, but only convert a few thousand dollars. That is a difference of what, $10?
I see so many people on RS worrying about it.

Geezzz...

Damn lowballerz.

We here at VBCE do not charge any commission or fees on cash. A lot of other currency exchange company's will charge a "commission fee" or a "transaction fee", so their posted rates can be deceiving. With us, the rate that you see posted is what you get, no surprise fees sprung on you.

I don't mind hooking anyone up with a good deal if need be. Just ask for me (Michael) if you ever come in. I can also get you guys an even better deal for anyone looking to buy larger volumes in the form of cheques or wires.

Hey Guys,

I actually had a fellow s2ki member contact me today at work to purchase some USD. Which reminded me of this thread.

I just wanted to let all of you know once again that I am more than happy to give s2ki members a great hook up for any currency exchange purchases. I'm not on s2ki as frequently these days, so it's best to give me a call at work, rather than PM me, if you are interested in any exchanges.

Here's my contact info:
- VBCE (Vancouver Bullion & Currency Exchange)
- 800 West Pender St, Suite 120, Vancouver
- Phone: 604-685-1008
- Ask for Michael
