Default Boosted power cut issue

Hey guys, I been lurking on here since december and haven't introduce my self. Any how my names Paul and my s2k has got to be the most fun car out of the cars ive previously had and currently have. Only drive it on dry days and plan to track it. Hope to attend a meet in the future.

Anyways, I'm currently running the greddy turbo kit on my s2k @7psi, and after sitting for sometime due to poor weather, the car seems to drive really CRAP. Every time i hit boost, at about 6500rpm, all i hear is the turbo spool and the power band would just go flat . Feel like i'm instantly towing boat lol. 1/10 times of hitting boost would i actually feel the full power band. Unless i ease in the pedal then the full power band is there and once you drop the pedal, Boom! instant super lag and sputters as the rpm rises.

So far Ive checked Plugs, replaced coils.

My next assumption was that i possibly needed to replace my 255walbro pump? But on the AFR gauge, every time it loses the power band its at 10.1 on the meter. So that brings me back to it not being the fuel pump.

My friend suggested I bring into racing greed and get a retune?, I'm currently running the Emanage with the kit.

Any thoughts guys?

Thanks

Definitely sounds like a tuning issue. If tommy is the same tommy from kinetic and L and R way back in the day then I would totally agree with the suggestions to take the car to him. I have had nothing but great experiences with him.

Out of curiosity are you running the emanage that comes with the kit?

Are you running the map supplied by Greddy? If you are, you definitely need a re-tune. The map might be locked as well, so you will need an unlocked version of the map to build off the tune. Otherwise you will have to scrap the whole tune and start from scratch which is going to cost you a few more hours of tuning time.

No his not running stock map, His car was tuned at RG about a year ago and some issues resembling his problems were fixed with the tune. Car ran flawless after the tune curious on what made it hiccup now.

Best of luck =)
