Default Clunking noise underneath the car?

Hey guys,

When I'm driving, sometimes there's a clunking noise from underneath the car. It doesn't matter what speed, accelerating or braking, it just does that sometimes. A tech and I took a look at underneath the car and everything seems fine and secured. Any ideas? Thanks.

It can happen at anytime, doesn't matter what gear i'm in, nor accelerating or decelerating. It's just a single clunk sound, seems to be coming right underneath the driver's side floor. TIA

I wish I could help but this is the first time I've heard of this. The only other time is when someone put it into 1st gear at a light or rolling in neutral and into 1st.

The sound seems to be coming from under the driver's position.

I'm not too sure, cause usually when I'm in neutral the car is stopped or at very low speed coming to a stop. I'll pay more attention to it, thanks.

My parents have a similar problem with their Suzuki Vitara. Our machanic looked at it and couldn't find anything wrong either. If it's any comfort, my parents have riven with that clunking noise for well over 50k km's without a problem.
