Default Which coilover to get?

Hey guys,

I've sold some parts off of my EM1, so it's time to sink some money into my S2K.

The first mod that I want to do is to go with full coilovers. I have searched and searched here on s2ki for what's decent and have taken it all into consideration. I know that this topis has been beaten to death, but with every search that I have found, it seems like everyone just argues about this topic...some say the stock suspension is great, so why mess with it...other say don't spend too much on coils, and others say go all out and get top notch coilovers. I love the stock handling, but the car is too 4x4 imo. So I want a coilover that will not make me loose any performance, as I have read that with some coilovers, you will loose handling compared to stock. I am looking to spend around 2300 and less.

So after all of my research I have narrowed it down to three choices:
I am looking into Tein flex, T1R B max, and KW V2's.

I am kinda leaning towards the KW V2's at the moment as I have read great things about them. But I am a bit hesitant about putting a european coilover into a japanses car. I know that europen suspension is usually good, but it's the concept that I am having the issue with.

The T1R's look to be a bit over priced imo for what you get...and I've heard complaints about the tein flex. I had the tein ss in my EM1, and it was a comfy ride, but teins tend to rust/corrode over time.

So I am looking for a bit of help and suggestions guys. Let me know what you have/had in your S and what you thought of it. Also did you notice a difference in handling? If so was it better/worse?

Thanks in advance for all the help.

Yeah I'll try posting it there.

I think that the V3's are bit of an overkill imo...very nice coilover, but overkill for what I want it for. I am looking for a coilover that is mainly for street use, but weekend racing. So my buddy over at HPA said to just go with the KW V2's.

And I took at look at AJ's website, and the T1R's will come to almost 2'gs with tax and install...and that is about the same price as the V2's.
