Dang, too bad. My Porsche just has a rubber sheet that heats up and sits on the back side of the mirror. It looks like black tape.

My mirrors don't seem to fog up though. I'll have to pay closer attention to this over the next week!

From search results, I think we do not have heated mirrors. Only UK models have them from MY04.

to bring this old thread back up...

my passenger side mirror looks like it got hit by a stone, and i need to replace it, and with all the rain lately, i got some fog when i went into a parkade, which got me thinking again: heated side mirror mod.

anybody look into this?

called Yeoman's Honda in the UK: http://www.yeomanshonda.co.uk/showroom/

part number for the actuator: 76210S2A013
mirror glass: 76203S2A003
whole assembly: 76200S2A013ZD

So the guy will doing a bit of research before getting back to me, and hopefully he will...

every year around this time, i wish for heated side mirrors, and then i forget about it, but now that i actually must replace my broken side mirror, i think i will end up doing this mod

sweet, with those part numbers i found this:
http://www.hondaoriginalparts.com/honda_ca...&block_03=19258

and looks like the actuator is heated!

all i need now is to decide on mirrors, since they are separate from actuator, and i'm sure I can use the mirror holder if the replacement mirror doesn't come with one, or you can just order these:

http://www.prestigeautoaccessories.com/sho...8&reviews_id=17

but they are rather pricey

Hey ttang, I have two silverstone side mirrors if you need to buy one.

I think the problem with ukdm mirrors is that the cars out there are right hand drive. The driver side and passenger side glass pieces are curved differently so objects will look funny if you install those on a left hand drive car

^Do you don't really need to use the UK glass for this mod?

i'm not 100% sure about S2k mirrors but with all the honda heated mirrors i've ever seen, the heater element is bonded to the backside of the glass and you can't remove it without breaking the glass

i assumed the s2k would be similar
