Heading up to Edmonton later this week and thought I would check with the BC locals if there's any cool car shops to visit / check out. My wife is going to the Edmonton mall and I'm looking for places to check out some S2k stuff.

BTW: How's the police activity on highway's 5 & 16. Our route takes us mostly on those roads. Should I bring the V1? Or are they illegal in Alberta / BC?

 

The B.C. locals can tell you the shops in Vancouver. Edmonton is not in B.C., so they won't know much to tell you where to check stuff out there. I'm in Calgary, so I can't either.
PM "Seks". He lives in Edmonton and he may be able to give you some info.

As for radar detectors, they are legal in Alberta and I believe also in B.C. I drive through B.C. all the time with mine.
