I've heard really really good things about lidatek. Always wanted to get one but never had any of my cars long enough lol

 

my wife and i share a cobra, seems to work good, i had one wired in my integra that was awesome.. i always knew where the cops were but i forget what kind it was.. i bought in like 2001, it got stolen in august they left the nice cd player though..

 

I got to vote for the V-1... saved my bacon more than once and their customer service is tops... mine broke after a few years, sent it back with the required check... they sent my repaired V-1 back along with my check saying it was a defective part, no charge. Check them out.. from my cheap seat they work as advertised and they stand behind their stuff... plus, they are upgradeable.

 

Hawaii uses laser only, so the standard radar detector is of no use...

Most of the radar detectors that have laser will tell u, but its already too late...

So officers will tell u that having a detector is illegal as well
