Post esstwothousand's Spoonish Build Thread

Hey Everyone,

So I've bought and accumulated a lot of parts (uninstalled) over the last year and a half since purchasing my MY08 in late 2009. Just wanted to share what my car is like now and what it will be in the near future Let me know what you think, bad or good comments are welcome! Don't be too rough though!!

My vision is just a classy looking street car that is capable of an occasional track day.

This is my car now:

AERO:
OEM Front Lip with Downforce Carbon Lip Splitter
OEM Rear Wing Spoiler
OEM Side Strakes
Spoon Wiper Blades

ACCESSORIES:
OEM Gold Plated Emblem Kit
OEM Titanium Shiftknob
OEM Convex Mirror Housing with Spoon Hydro Blue Wide Mirrors
Spoon Blue Wide Rear View Mirror
JS2k LED Conversions

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Parts that I have that are ready to be installed:

BODY REINFORCEMENT:
Spoon Tower Bar
Spoon X-Brace
Spoon Rear X-Brace

BRAKE SYSTEM:
Spoon Calipers
Spoon Front Brake Pads
Spoon Rear Brake Pads

WHEELS:
Spoon Silver CR93 Wheels 17x8.5 +53 (Front)
Spoon Silver CR93 Wheels 17x9.5 +63 (Rear)
Spoon Red Lug Nuts

SUSPENSION:
OEM HONDA CR Front Springs and Damper Set
OEM HONDA CR Rear Springs and Damper Set
OEM HONDA CR Front Sway Bar
OEM HONDA CR Rear Sway Bar

ENGINE:
Spoon Engine Torque Damper
Spoon Carbon-Kevlar Spark Plug Cover

COOLING:
Spoon Radiator Cap

EXHAUST:
Go Tuning / GReddy Spectrum Elite Dual

ACCESSORIES
OEM Premium Floor Mats
Clazzio / Go Tuning Sport Seat Covers (Red Center with Red Stitching)
Spoon Reservoir Tank Covers
Spoon Window Banner
Spoon Stickers

Sooooooooo basically no real HP boosters, just more of an upgrade to handling and responsiveness of the car. I'm hesitant to do any HP adder mod's, because I'll get out of control and crash and die. On the fence about the exhaust as I may start collecting T1R products

Big thanks to Jason at AJR for getting me my parts! Awesome guy to deal with!

Sooo what do you guys think??!

Thanks for looking!

Can't see it clearly in this pic!! but you can sort of make out the Spoon letters in silver on both wiper blades. It's shaped I guess for aerodynamics lol... probably just creates drag tho if anything.

I purchased Go Tuning Tommy's personal set. He had them converted to match left hand cars freakin expensive tho...

I hope this car turns out well!!
