Default FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU-

Well crapshit, got rear-ended on the way home from work today. Would anyone happen to have dealt with any body shops in the past and been satisfied? I'm a little anal about my car, despite how bad I can treat it at times.
Any input would be valued. Thanks in advance, in exchange: Tits!

Oh yeah, pics or it didn't happen...

As you can see, the damage isn't too extensive, but it is going to need re-spraying, and paint matching is a bitch.

Sounds like what happened to me about 2 years ago. Nothing really to worry about since it's 100% his fault, and it looks like your trunk and tail lights are all fine. I took mine to Automind in Richmond. They are okay. Color match is perfect.

I took my S2000 to No. 1 Collision...expensive, but if ICBC is paying for it, who cares.

I took my car to the Richmond location, and I think my S2000 was the least baller car there

Lots of High-end Euros get work done there.

Thanks for the advice, I'll start phoning around tomorrow. I know there aren't any financial repercussions to worry about, there's only two reasons this is a "FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUU-" moment: One being this is prime driving season, and I'm going to be stuck driving my shitty old Pathfinder (now who's stupid for owning far too many cars for one individual?!). The other being that upon closer inspection, the driver's side exhaust pipe got smunched in, and now it's contacting the sub-frame. Working as an automotive technician's apprentice, I've had to clean up after a lot of messes body shops have made of mechanical work, so now I've got to see if they'll farm the exhaust portion of the work out.
Thanks again, hopefully my car will be ready and slightly shinier in some parts in time for the next cruise!

So I took my car out to Number 1 collision out in Richmond, and right off the bat I was impressed with the fact that my car was indeed the least valuable car in the lot (though probably the most reliable). They're obviously very picky from what talks I've had with them, as they've spotted stuff even I didn't see. Looks like ICBC is going to have a fairly massive bill racked up, as not only is the fascia done, the floor pan is bent, the deck lid and hinges are ****ed, and the exhaust is done for. Only really bad news here is the fact that most parts are back-ordered and the current ETA is 3-4 weeks, right in the middle of driving season! Looks like I'm going to have to go out and revive the Z...

Too bad but at least it will look great when you get it back... Good luck with the repairs.
