Finally!
This is a bit off topic, but some of you might know about how I got screwed by UVic, and there's the whole story including some follow-ups.
I originally sent a cheque almost 2months back for some overdue, then for weeks UVic said they never received anything so told me to send another one, and BAM! the second day both chques were cashed.
I just called them and they said they only cashed one, so I provided all the info from the first cheque and after 5 minutes of waiting and muffled voices, they told me they found it, and it was unidentified, so they just cashed it anyway. I told them I had a statement they sent my included in the envelope with my name and student number, and guess what the lady told me? "Somebody must have thrown it away!
Anyway, after a 10 minute conversation, they agreed to send me back the extra money.
Am I crazy for thinking this is fishy!?
Oh well I'm still glad I'm getting my X-brace fund back.

They messed up my timetable and refused to help until the day before the first mid-terms, meaning I had no class to go until the test date, boy wasn't that fun.
