With 30 days left until it all starts again in Melbourne, are there any fans here who know where it can be watched in a public place with other fans? Or even at someone's house? It seems hard to find here in Vancouver, especially since most of the races start at 5 a.m.

Except for non-Europe races.

I am a huge fan and I really cant wait for this season. I do think Melbourne is going to be very similar to the start of last season with kimi wrecking the field. I was going to throw a similar post up on VCMC.ca to see if anyone was interested in watching the race.

At the moment I am subsiding my F1 needs by torrenting all the GP's I forgot to record on my shaw direct thing. My place is a bit small for a F1 night but if we get a lead on anywhere let me know!!

30 DAYS TILL FRIDAY PRACTICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a huge F1 fan. In fact I'll be attending the Turkish GP this year.

My favourite is watching the GP on an autocross morning, and seeing the last few laps at the McDonalds in Pitt Meadows lol.

Although Kimi won last year, he only won it marginally. Had McLaren pick Hamilton to be their number 1 driver, the championship would have been over by Chinese GP. That said, the gap between F2008 and MP-23 seems less compare to last year.

My money is on Ferrari. Kimi probably, but Massa has an outside chance if he performs well.

I was thinking about going to the Spanish GP, but it's so freakin expensive! Any place to get cheaper tickets?

Last year was a fun year to follow f1! There were so many storylines you'd think that you were watching a soap opera! Unfortunately, us Honda fans had little to cheer about.

I think this year will be a better for Honda, definitely. One of the big reasons is that Ross Brawn is now aboard the team. I have a book on Michael Schumacher that describes how much Ross was a huge part to ferrari's return to success during those years. Even though I know Honda probably won't win, I'm still cheering for Jenson Button. The guy's got skill, he just needs a good car to show it!

Ferrari in testing with kimi looks amazing, granted they are on track pacing against the toyota's, so my mildly modded s2k would look good. But what really makes me think its kimi's year is ferrari saying they have tailored the car to his liking. I had the feeling Kimi never really loved last years championship winning chassis.

McLaren is currently where my heart lives, I have fallen in love with lewis and I dont care who knows it . Heiki has was also so impressive last year in the struggling renault, I love his personality. Those 2 really seem like a good pair of team-mates, however their experience combined has to be the lowest on the grid. It does worry me that alonso wont be around for the development of the MP-23, maybe a reason their 07 season was so strong (that and the ferrari text messages)

I would love to see the BMW team come up and give the 2nd best team a run for their money this year. I don't think they will be able to push for the title, but a 2nd place race might be within grasp. BMW's style seems so different than the rest of the teams, its like they want to sneak into placing extremely well. All you have to do is walk passed their pits to see they are different from the rest. GO ROBERT!

well I guess I should stop.. hahaha
