Cam...you can call and cancel. You have a legit reason since you are out of town.

I've done it before and so have friends to delay the court date when I needed more time to get my full license type of thing (I had my N at the time).
Hey Vince who would I call for that? I don't have my court date papers on me, and I know there is a phone number listed on it... maybe you can help me out thanks!

I have my plate placed in the center of my grill just like MC21's shots. No overheating issues. Although I have a Mishimoto rad... I'm sure even with OEM it would be just fine.

I like the plate positioned the way Ray posted but I don't want to drill two holes in my bumper

I think this is a very cool idea... at a stop, cops will see a properly mounted plate (must be perpendicular to the ground, mounted at the front most part of the car, around the centerline of the car), but in motion it falls back to allow airflow to the rad!

Hi Cam....where abouts did you get your ticket? Where is the court hearing? That location is the one you need to call.

http://www.icbc.com/driver-licensing/ticke...g/traffic-court

Click on "List of Court Locatoins" and go from there. Let me know if you need help.

I've thought about this before as well. I think the tow hook plate relocator is a good idea, but it's way overpriced for what it is.

I have the RHO plate relocator. They do have some discounted pricing for local guys. Just email them and ask. I don't know if it will fit the AP2 or not as the hole for the tow hook looks different?

Here are a couple of pics of my car with the relocator

FIY guys, went up for a drive to Porteau Cove last week with the license plate blocking the rad on the way up, and then i took it off on the way down.

Ambient temp dropped a bit from 7-8pm, but the overall temp difference was at least 6-8 degrees cooler, adjusting for ambient temp drop.

On the way up, water temp reached 116C with the plate blocking the rad.
On the way down, water temp max was 106C.

Definitely should find a way to get the plate out of the grill area if possible
