Gear problem HELP!

Default Gear problem HELP!

i cant go to my 5th gear,even if i push it in and put gas on it,the gear will pop out by himself.....did i just broke my clutch?we can i do right now

what about 6th or reverse.. or is it just 5th?

you may need to replace the synchronizer and the gear.

^^^ I agree.

I am pretty certain it's not broken clutch. If it was clutch problem, it would not affect just 5th gear.

i had a similar issue with 1st gear and found the issue to be the slave. I took it apart, sanded and regreased and it worked again.

i had the same thing and my slave was leaking cheap/easy fix

I have heard of 5th being locked out if you skip gears ie... get on the hwy, give it a vtec through 3rd, then quick to 4th then skip 5th and go straight to 6th just because of laziness.... do you do this on a regular basis?

I have also heard of 5th being locked out from long track sessions only using 2,3,4th gears... this is ap1 only if I recall.
