Unhappy Hardtop striker tension adjustment

Does anyone know how to adjust the tension of the strikers for the hardtop? I recently tried to mount the hardtop back onto my car and couldn't get the tension right on one striker. I'd prefer to get this fix before it starts raining again! I thought there was a thread with diagrams some time ago about how to go about adjusting/tightening the tension of the strikers, but had no luck with the forum search.

This didn't happen last year when I mount the hardtop on.

Anyone?

i dont think you can adjust it.

They do wear out though. An easy fix, is to swap them from left-right right-left.

Do you have hardtop strikers? or just the normal ones for softtop?
the hardtop strikers are alot thicker so that helps with the "tension"

Found the solution! In case anyone in the future wants to know how to adjust the tension for the hardstop catchers (thought they were called strikers), here is the solution (and it works!!):

Weird... miata hardtops come with tensioners.

If you guys want a quick (sorta) fix on tightening, just get a hose (or what i got was a portion of a rad hose) and cut it so that it fits between the hook and the hooking portion. It gets rid of a lot of the rattle.
