Hwy 101 Lund to Chile is it possible?
This may be dumb but since we bought a home in sunshine coast, (but still live in Portugal for the moment) we had the idea of driving from Lund the start of the 101 to as far south as it goes in South America, in a Camper/Motorhome. Is this a thing that sensible people do? Are there any forums/sites on this subject. Any help or pointers greatly apreciated.

Lol, I didn't even know a place called Lund existed!

I guess if you had the time, anything is possible. A lot of people around here take their campers to go for long drives across the continent, although I don't know of too many (any?) that go to South America. You might try asking this question in some RVing websites. Good luck!
Is the S coming too?

From Lund, you need to take the highway all the way south till you hit Saltery Bay. Catch the ferry to Earl's Cove then keep heading south on Hwy 101 till you hit Langdale. From there you can catch the Horseshoe bay ferry to the mainland. From Horseshoe bay, take Highway 1 till you hit 176st exit which is hwy 15. Once you cross the border, hwy 15 becomes i543 and connects to I5.
Along I5, you can go south all the way to San Diego, Calif.
From there, there are a bunch of different highways you will have to take to get to Chile.
