Importing car Problem
I would try to contact Honda of America directly.I'm not surprised the dealer is neglecting to help you, most of them don't really care.
You will need to get the sticker issued directly from Honda of America (I would imagine).

Hmm I remember they don't check for that sticker.
Actually no one even checked to see I was actually importing a s2k.
Do you mean cdn tire won't pass the car and documents to send to riv?
If that is the case, I would try to reason with cdn tire.

SW Honda says they don't issue that sticker, and they refuse to help me in anyway beyond that
I'm not sure about RIV sending that sticker out but i don't think they will if i don't have the USA one

Good luck with the importing process, I am currently in the process of doing mine as well.
You know I can understand Canadian dealers getting upset with a person that imports and S2000 but the American dealers are selling a car. Do they really car where the car goes once they get thier money? I don't think so, they get to sell a car and probably not adhear to the warantee
^^ ya but i've heard that Honda America is coming down hard on dealers who sell to Canadians. They are really against bringing cars up to Canada. Also another thing I heard is that if they do sell it to a Canadian, it doesn't actually register as 'sold' on their systems, which effects how many cars they get sent to them the year after....something like that anyways..

^^^It's not just Honda. Before I bought my car I had called a Toyota dealership and a Carmax asking about used S2s they had, both said they wouldn't sell to a Canadian.
