JDM Headlight Diffuser Install

JDM Headlight Diffuser Install
Hey guys,
Anybody happen to have experience changing the headlight diffusers on an AP1?
I've done it once but it was a long time ago and I forget how. Plus, living downtown now, I have no tools or garage.
I was wondering if anybody in the GVRD could help lend a hand/garage anytime in the next... month? My schedule is flexible and I'd be more than willing to pick up some drinks/dinner/whatever for your time.
Thanks a lot.

I was searching 'headlight' and came across your post. Not sure if you're still in need of info or not, but Rick's Signature Accessories offers >> this information << which should be of great assistance.
Good luck!

wyatth...i did this DIY on my old car...its best if we start in the morning...it'll take quite a bit of time if you want to do it properly...and its best to take your time or you'll have to dismantle the housing again if you don't seal properly....
im stll contemplating whether i should keep the amber corners or go with a JDM look for my black...but let me know when you want to do it

hey man!
did you get another s2??
now im unsure what to do.. might keep the amber. the diffusers/sidemarkers are FS now. if the install was as easy as on an m3, id do it for sure...

yeah it takes quite a bit of time.....taking off bumper and removing bolts should take about 30min-45min...then comes the oven....and depending how you want the lights to turn out...it may take around 3 hours to get both of the housing's silicones off...then you have to make sure that there is no water or anything inside and reseal with silicone and reheat in the oven.......then supposedly your supposed to leave it over night for the silicone to cure......so its not a one day job kind of thing......
i think im just gonna keep amber corners...clear headlights don't really look that IMHO.....on black.....but yours is GPW now?....i thought you had a sebbring.....white+cleared headlight diffusers look sick man...then all u need is red badges and it'll be perfect

Go with white Ray & it matches your clear sides!
