Post Just detailed my friends 07 Si

Copied/Pasted from the Wash/Wax section. I hope to do my car soon! Let me know if any of you guys need any detail work done .

Some background on my detail experience. I've been detailing cars for a long time now, mainly friends and family's rides, but have always used my Porter Cable. I finally took the plunge with a Makita rotary! So far I love it .

I took it slowly and used my LC Green pad, where as I would usually use my Orange Pad. I achieved results very similar to my PC/Orange pad with the Makita/Green pad!

Products Used:

Car - 2007 Civic Si Nighthawk Black Pearl
Wash - Dove Original (always used this to strip down any waxes)
Wheels - P21S wheel cleaner, Zaino tire shine
Glass - Stoner Invisible Glass (didn't have time for Zaino glass polish)
Clay - Mothers claybar
Paint Correction - Makita 9227, Menzerna SIP and 106FF
Trim/Engine Dressing - AutoGlym
LSP - Zaino Grand Finale/P21S Concours

I got lazy with pictures as the day went on as my friend and I got a bit too deep into the beers. I supposed I should have gotten some more 50/50's and finished panel shots but this is my first documented detail Also this was an exterior only detail. I forgot to take some shots of the finished engine bay too

Let me know if you guys have any suggestions. And yes I know my backing plate is too large I have a smaller one on order along with some other new stuff!

holy shit that's BADLY swirled. Gotta make sure to tell your friend to take more care of his car now lol. Great job man, I never knew you were into car detailing. You put spacers on? Fitment looks great.

Vik the car was a rebuild and he bought it no more than a few months ago. It wasn't him that put the swirls there. He's happy they're gone .

Ya spacers on the S now. 20mm rear, 15mm front
