Default led dome/map light help!

I recently put in led lights in my dome/map light area. They turn on fine with my remote and doors, but when I try turning them on with the button it blinks and doesn't stay on. Anyone know why? Thanks!

No I didn't actually! Hahaha I was in a rush so I popped the cover back in

Ps. It didn't even turn on at all before after fiddling with it, it turned on. So I just popped the cover back on

No, it turns on only with my doors (the switch in the middle) when I slide it to "on" it doesn't turn on, same with pressing the button to turn it on just a quick blink

You might have a loose connection inside your switch, might want to try opening it up and see if the connections are conducting

Dome Light Fix. <--- Click me!!! Literally takes like 10mins. Even if it isn't the problem, doesn't hurt to check/clean.
I didn't use the dremel, it's not really necessary, i just used a piece of scotch-brite pad.

^iirc, trunk light housing was much easier to remove than the interior dome one.

Hi Guys--a quick fix for this is to simply wipe the contacts with a q-tip and a bit of vinegar. Works like a charm. Makes the contacts look like new copper.
