The plastic feels like it'll break easy i got it off though! and i think i might try the vinegar

 

So i've finally decided to take apart the dome light to clean the connectors. After taking it apart, i used some windex (didn't have connector cleaners LOL) and a q-tip wiped it all down. I then connected the wire back and tried it and it didn't work! So i pushed everything back in and it works...? LOL thanks for the tip guys!
