Default Looking for a Helmet.

Hey guys I am looking for a SA2005+ helmet.

Any suggestions?

You have to really try out different helmets to know which one fits you the best. For me, my GP5S feels great but not everyone finds Arais comfortable.

^^ not just the brand, different models will fit differently, needa try them all to see which one fits you best

go to drivers edge they have a bunch to choose from and you can try them all on.

Carter Honda has some SA2010s already, not a lot, but some. And some of them aren't very expensive either. Around ~$2xx or so.

wait till next year when everyone will have the SA2010's and get one of those, that or pick up a SA2005 on clearance.

But do go and try a bunch on to see what fits best. Try not to cheap out too much as a heavy helmet will suck after some time on the track. Your neck will be sore from the lateral g's and a heavy helmet will not help.

Thanks for all the good feedback!

I am leaning towards a open face, as I think those would probably be more practical and comfortable.

One problem is, they look kinda gay. lol

Agreed, that's why I suggested OP to try on various helmets himself. However, helmets from the same manufacturer generally fit somewhat similar.
