ARGH!.....I'm so mad right now. I was driving to work the other day, when some SUV in front of me drove over a piece of metal stripping/pipe which caused it to shoot at my car. I almost had enough time to swerve when I remembered there was a car beside me. Next thing I know, I hear this scraping noise and I start swearing profusely in my car.

I haul ass to work and pull over and check it out. I see a 3-inch gash under my driver's side headlight and now it's gonna cost me 200-300 bucks to get it repainted.
Elena's only a month old and I hafta get her repainted already....dammit. The price we pay for love.

On a positive side note, my speakers should be delivered today and I bought my new HU, so it's going in soon and I'm gonna actually have good sound in my car!

 

Elena? Hehe. Nice. Sorry to hear bout the bumper. By the time I make it home, driving through the whole freakin U.S., I expect my front bumper and windshield to be totally done with.

hey im new on s2ki.com and sounds like kenny is the planner for events so i was wondering if people were intrested in a cuze meet in an april saturday any april saturday because the weather forecast right now isn't looking to great so im hopping april will be better.. ALSO WHERE DO YOU GUYS GO ON FRIDAYS TO DRIVE N WHAT NOT IM NOT OLD ENOUGH FOR CLUBS BUT is there any hang outs for s2000's on firdays or any imports. In Ontario TIMy hoes is the place to meet up but i dont know where it is here PLEASE Help ME OUT

 

welcome to the party Mike....I'm a newb around here as well, but I KNOW that Kenny is the meet-whore so if there's any meets coming up, he's the guy to ask. Sounds like you got a nice setup for your car there dude. I wanna see the custom indash job.

As for my ICE Kenny, I got a Sony MEXBT5000 [Bluetooth FTW!] and Infinity Reference 6012si coaxials. I was gonna go with the Kappa Perfect components, but I couldn't hear any first-hand, so I didn't know if it was gonna be worth the extra 200 bucks. Plus I got a good deal on the deck and speakers, so woot for me!

Can't wait to get'em all installed! I was actually thinking about gettin the Type-R's as well, but I just really liked the sound [and price ] of the Infinity's i got.

 

I don't think you'll find many "import hangouts" or anything around here. Just need to get a few people together and organize it. Or just let Kenny do all the work! (even though he ALWAYS plans cruises on days I work )

 

Well come to think about it,
the TOPDOWN crew in US for example seems to be doing tons of stuff together.
Good interactions no matter what age/race/sex group you are in.
Rather than having a 'formal' meet; I think it will be great to
'hang out' with others.
Not always talk about cars, mods etc like anything in general.
Since this is still a 'community', I hope ppl are up for interactions.

But personally I've never been to a car meet before.
So I have no idea what it is like. But from hearing and looking through pics, it sure looks entertaining. I'm looking forward to meet all of you.
