Going to the track once or twice isn't too bad. You learn a lot and have a ton of fun. The problem is that sometimes it gets addictive, and the only sports I know of that are more expensive than track driving are aviation and yachting.

I would love to track my car before I order my coilovers.

Let us know the next time that you go? Maybe we can join you. (depending on the price)

Ah, that's gonna be a while. My car is in my garage getting some major work done to it.

I'm hoping to have it ready to go by the time of the Inland Empire BMWCCA school in Spokane in late October. That's a really good school. You get two days in a row so you have plenty of time to learn the track and start working on improving your skills. It costs about US$350. Usually some of the S2KI members from the Seattle area go over there. The two-day format helps justify the drive there and back.

Yeah sorry I ended up not going...I didn't see the point in going since I had no helmet to race...I don't really like to watch the drags, cause it makes me want to go out there even more so.

That's it? WTF is wrong with the driver? 108mph is a pretty good speed, but all he could do is 13.5? Better get him some better tires and an LSD.
