hey guys i just got a act clutch and 13 lbs fly wheel installed in my 05 and its way better than stock but when deceleration between 3500rpm and 2500rpm it make this horrible noise that i dont really know how to describe. its almost like i can hear everything spinning around in there and its pretty loud. i also get a very small shutter when i slip the clutch out, even if its slipping out at higher rpm like 1500rpm-2000rpm. the place that installed it said that its normal with an after market clutch but im not really convinced. anyone have similar issues? i bought the clutch from alex at the speed syndicate and he said it was the same one that clement had when he had his kraftwerks kit. clement if your reading this please comment!!!

Sounds like clutch chatter or buzz???

 

I can't imagine beefing up any part of the original drivetrain without there being some noise associated , post a video

 

its probably clutch buzz...it's normal

 

thanks for your help guys. im starting to come to terms with it, its just a bit of a change from stock. ive been driving the car for 3 years bone stock and im just used to that i guess.

 

yeah it's noisy, annoying, nothing much you can do unless you want to change the clutch plate

 

Some cars have it and some don't.

 

act clutches make some noise in decel. i noticed it in mine and every act ive installed. unfortunately u gotta take the good with the bad sometimes.
